Buddha Charm turquoise
The necklace is made of beautiful pure turquoise from Tibet and is provided with an old Buddha amulet. Here, it is worn by Annemarie Postma, author of the beautiful book The Deeper Secret, a real must!
This old amulet is made from shells, flower seeds and sand and its colour is off-white. Buddha sits on a high throne which is shaped straight-lined, typical of the Phra Soomdeej amulet. Buddha sits in the meditative lotus position. This is the most popular and most worn amulet in Asia. Made and blessed to attract success.
A mixture of 108 flower seeds from holy plants is incorporated in some of the amulets. All are handmade by monks and are therefore unique. The amulet is set in a wrought frame made from a brass alloy.
The setting is beautifully decorated. The antique amulet is made from backed clay. The amulet has a beautiful colour and has been beautifully worn, due to extensive use. The silver is new, I have had it made around the old amulet by a silver smith who was a monk for years.
The setting has been placed in such a way that the amulet is not damaged. A beautiful amulet pendant, the measurements are approximately 37 x 25 x 5 mm.
Of old, Turquoise has been a stone with protective properties, both in Tibet and with the Incas and even in ancient Egypt. It gives balance and inner peace and has a positive effect on rheumatics, the immune system and on the stomach and the eyes. The chain and amulet can easily be combined with, for instance, jeans.
The length of the chain is approximately 63 cm.
