A beautiful bronze amulet from Thailand. Buddha is depicted at the moment right before he reaches enlightenment.

The amulet is meant to offer the wearer serenity and balance. Buddha sits on a double lotus throne. Buddha touches Mother Earth with his right hand to have her witness his enlightenment.

His left hand lies slightly folded on his lap, with his palm opened upwards. This symbolises meditation and balance. The long flame on Buddha's head is a symbol of the enlightenment and the edges around Buddha are the leaves of the holy Bodhi tree.

The amulet is 3,7 cm. and is made from a zinc/bronze alloy set in a brass frame. I have been able to purchase several of these in Northern Thailand. The colour is very beautiful. The amulet brings the wearer serenity and balance and will protect them on the life path.
